Students with Hidden Disabilities such as ADHD or Aspergers Syndrome are entering Higher Education & Universities at an increasing rate
They are entitled to an ASSESSMENT OF NEED to determine the level of support they will need to be successful at University
ADHD & ASPERGERS Students may be able to access funding
via DISABLED STUDENTS ALLOWANCE to pay for a NON MEDICAL HELPER & SPECIALIST EQUIPMENT such as a laptop and printer with suitable software to enable completion of the course successfully. REACH COACHING is able to offer both on and off site training for Higher Education Establishments and Colleges of Further Education for LEARNING SUPPORT STAFF to learn how to support students with hidden disabilities like ADHD & ASPERGERS' SYNDROME
Students in Universities are at high risk of dropping out if they are unsupported or supported by inadequately trained staff
REACH COACHING is keen to work with LEARNING SUPPORT CO-ORDINATORS AND NON-MEDICAL HELPERS to offer STUDENTS high quality, professional, inclusive support to enable them to achieve good degrees on a parr with their non-disabled peers
